On July 16, Samara Banks and three of her four sons were killed when struck by one of two scumbag drivers racing along Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia. In the time since, there has been a push to install traffic lights and speeding cameras along that stretch of downright dangerous roadway.
Today — Aug. 25 — I parked alongside the Boulevard, crossed those perilous lanes and snapped a few photos that show mourners have not forgotten what was lost that night, and how it’s incumbent on all of us to ensure there is not a sequel.
Just heartbreaking, this story.
