4378. Austin, Texas. Nov. 10. Man fatally struck by a dark SUV which fled the scene.
4379. Haverhill, Mass. Nov. 11. 10-year-old boy injured when struck by a grey Mercedes which fled the scene.
4380. Robbins, NC. Nov. 10. 40-year-old man fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
4381. New Castle, Pa. Nov. 12. Man and woman injured when struck by a grey minivan which fled the scene.
4382. Bloom Twp., Ohio. Nov. 13. 24-year-old man fatally struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee which fled the scene. Driver later arrested.

Police are looking for the three people who were caught on camera stealing puppies during a hit-and-run theft Thursday.
At 3:25 p.m., officers with the Northglenn Police Department were called to Puppies ‘n’ Stuff, located on 1400 West 104th Ave. after three puppies were stolen.
The store owner told police two men entered the store, picked up three puppies and ran out the door. A witness saw the men running and attempted to chase after them.
They ran behind the building and onto West 103rd Place, where the witness saw the men get into a black Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a woman.
The witness tried to stop the jeep, but police say they accelerated, clipped the witness and knocked him to the ground. He was treated and released on scene for minor injuries. The driver of the jeep is described as a Hispanic woman, 16 to 30 years of age, with shoulder-length dark hair.

MILWAUKEE —Surveillance video from a building looking at the intersection of Brady Street and Arlington Place showed a man getting struck by a car early Sunday morning.

The driver, a 27-year-old woman was arrested a few blocks away, accused of drunken driving and hit and run.

RALEIGH (WTVD) — Police have arrested a hit-and-run driver who they say struck a woman on a scooter Monday afternoon in Raleigh.
It happened on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Rock Quarry Road around 2:45 p.m.
The driver of the scooter, 20-year-old Ana Kessel, was rushed to WakeMed with serious injuries.
Police said a car driven by 23-year-old Michael Deontea Jones, hit Kessel’s scooter and then fled the scene.
Jones was arrested a short time later. He’s being charged with felony hit and run and with driving without a valid license.

The alleged hit-and-run collision occured at approximately 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11 in Easton. A horse-drawn buggy was traveling southbound on Route 1A when a southbound car allegedly struck the buggy, pushing it off the road onto a lawn, according to a press release from Troop F of the Maine State Police.

RICHMOND, Calif. — A hit-and-run suspect was killed when he drove into a tree just off of Interstate Highway 80 in Richmond Tuesday afternoon, police and California Highway Patrol officials said.

CLEVELAND — Investigators are making another plea for the public’s help to find the driver who struck and killed a 5-year-old boy near West 37th Street and Denison Avenue.
Back in October, Israel Thornton was crossing Denison to get to the school bus when someone hit him and then fled the scene.
Lt. James O’Malley says Cleveland police impounded a vehicle matching the description and had it forensically tested; however, it was not a match to Thornton’s DNA.

KENMORE, Wash. — The desperate 911 call from a young woman saying she had just found a body in Kenmore sounded very convincing, but prosecutors say Sydney Jones didn’t tell the whole truth, that she was responsible for the hit-and-run.

CAROLINA BEACH, NC, (WWAY) — A Carolina Beach police officer was awarded for his involvement in a fatal hit and run last year.

An auto shop employee who spotted human hair on a car he was working on helped crack a hit and run investigation in Springfield, Va.
Destiny Simons, 21, was walking along Gambrill Road near her home Oct. 28 when a driver struck her, and fled the scene. She was left with severe injuries to the head, torso and legs.
“She’s so lucky to be alive,” Destiny’s father Robert Simons told News4.
It wasn’t until an employee at Best Auto Glass in Merrifield contacted police, saying he found what appeared to be blood and human hair and flesh on the windshield of a Ford Taurus that was brought in for repairs.
