6519. Bridgeport, Ct. April 20. 72-year-old man critically injured when struck by a red two-door vehicle which fled the scene.
6520. Brooklyn, NY. April 21. 35-year-old woman fatally struck by a four-door dark sedan which fled the scene.
6521. Frederick, Md. April 21. Bicyclist injured when struck by a silver Honda or Hyundai which fled the scene.
6522. Beaumont, Texas. April 22. 4-year-old on bicycle injured when struck by a 2001 Ford Explorer which fled the scene; driver later arrested.
6523. Melbourne, Fla. April 23. Pedestrian injured when struck by a small white vehicle which fled the scene.
6524. Mishawaka, Ind. April 15. 23-year-old woman on bicycle injured when struck by a light-colored Dodge Nitro which fled the scene.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Accident Investigation Division is asking for the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspect wanted for a fatal hit & run in Holmesburg. ***The City of Philadelphia Mayor’s Office is offering a $10,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for this incident.*** On Tuesday, December 23, 2015, at 5:20pm, Unit #1, an unknown black truck was traveling north on the 8100 block of State Road when it struck the victim, a 33 year-old female, while she was crossing the street west towards the bus stop. After striking the victim the truck fled and was last seen north on State Road. The victim was transported to Aria-Torresdale Hospital by Medic #38 with critical injuries and was later pronounced at 6:38pm. The victim was identified as Theresa M. Suspect Description: Unknown person(s) operating a black colored truck.

EVANS, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fatal hit-and-run which claimed the life of an Evans resident is still the subject of police investigation more than a year later.
Police are looking for information that might help bring to justice the person who killed 52-year-old Barry Moss by hitting him with a vehicle. Town of Evans Police Department officials say they have a suspect in the case, but they’re looking for additional information and any witnesses to come forward.

Ridley Park Mayor Hank Eberle, at borough council’s April 21 meeting, presented citations of merit to two borough police officers for their work in apprehending two people responsible for a hit-and-run accident on Chester Pike in April 2013 that resulted in the loss of a leg of the victim. The two defendants were convicted of the crimes in February.

Sean Kevin Rey died Saturday at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, more than two weeks after he was struck twice while riding his bicycle in the 3600 block of Summerville Road. Rey was buried Thursday.

BELLINGHAM — A Bellingham man was sentenced to seven years in prison Thursday, April 23, for a hit and run that has left a mother of three unable to speak or walk.
Early Nov. 24, 2013, as the bars were letting out on a weekend in downtown Bellingham, Emma Lee Briceno crossed East Chestnut Street at Railroad Avenue. A black 2002 Lincoln sedan headed east, uphill, and swiped a Nissan Coupe in the intersection.
Then the Lincoln hit Briceno. She smashed into the windshield and fell to the asphalt. Briceno, 27, survived but suffered severe injuries to her skull, spine and brain. The driver continued on Chestnut, smacking the Lincoln into a Ford F-350 parallel-parked alongside the Herald Building. The car then drove off.

MERCED, Calif. (KFSN) — Investigators revealed new details in the case of a Merced 3-year-old boy who died last fall. Merced police now say it was no random hit-and-run case. They say the child was hit and killed by his mother’s boyfriend.
